    Hi there,

im from germany and i brought a Dual DAB4 witch comes with a Verona DAB module.
    I downloaded the SerMMI firmeware.

Can you tell me what do i need to flash the module?
Do i need a ICSP Programmer or a usb-to-ttl device?

Taken me ages to read all this thread...

Just picked up one of these cheap off ebay, should be good enough to get me started...

Although I need to check the solder joints on the caps as it appears to be one of the ones that had to have the caps taken off and resoldered correctly!

    Hi,
I`ve a verona modul and i want to use this in slave mode. I had flash the firmware for the venice7 modul (from post #1680). The problem is that the modul not response on the serial line. It seems that the modul makes a reboot again and again (The modul is ok and works with his old master software). Can anyone send me
a working firmware file for the verona modul or has an idea why it is not working ?

    Hi.

I'm new here and have followed this thread for a while. I bought a Philips radio with a Verona module inside.
My first attempt is to understand the Verona in master mode and started to se what the pins are used for.
There are 3 pins I don't understand - namely 18,19 and 20. 18 might be a pwr pin since it is derived from 3.3V
and lowered by a resistor network to 2.6V. This might be used as an reference for the button pins 25 and 26.

Does anyone know the functions on these pins for sure? Could you please enlighten me.

    Regards

    Hi mssfor.

There has to be some way to choose between master and slave mode. I reckon you just cant take a module running in master mode and flash it and run it in slavemode everything else untouched. So my guess we need to find a pin deciding which mode to run.

    Hi there,

I finally managed to flash the SerMMI firmeware to my Verona module.
If I try to use it, it says "time not set". I can set the time with 0x4f Alarm. It says Alarms saved and than the time and date is displayed.

If I try to turn it on 0x40 it says again "time not set"

    What did i do wrong?

    Greetings
