Well everyone, I've just fired up one of craigs DAB radios http://www.digital-car.co.uk/forum/s...postcount=1788
The USB module is a problem because, as you say, it contains no bolt holes. If we get enough sales, several months down the line, this will go to batch production and there will be no USB module - the USB to Serial chip will be on the main board and a USB header will be on the main board, just like the 3.5mm socket is now.
http://cl.ly/dd9a1d985fbb5a8e557a is a screenshot from the designer (still a work in progress) of what the Windows application will look like in restored mode. Obviously there is a maximised mode too. This just needs integrated into the application. I'll get a Centrafuse screenshot in the next few days. The software is taking a little longer than I would of hoped.

i also got my unit, but missed the mail(arse)man by 5 min....
now the stupid part is that they take the unit back 60 km to their sorting center, on monday they will drive it back to the local post office just 500 meters down the street
of course no option to go the 60 km myself to get it.. and the local office do not open before 13:00
in fact the dude drives just past the local office without dropping the unit off... no no.. it has to go 120 km before that... dont know what it's called outside denmark but in my world it qualifies to either stupid or jackarse

Blessed are the "cracked" for it is they who let in the light.
Kevin (RevHeadKev) has confirmed to me this unit works fine on DAB+ in Australia. He is going to post a video here later on demonstrating this.
glad it works
The epitome of Function over form and is probably the best Car PC in Europe.

Took my tuner for a test drive today, using my laptop to control it but feeding the audio to the HU i have.
The arial is a Kinetic DRA-1001, and was not powered during the test.
Sound was crystal clear all the time, not a single tiny dropout, and i did speeds up 130 kph / 81 mph.
In FM mode it only got one station, but that is due to the fact the arial is not powered and i had only connected the DAB part. But that 1 FM station was clear as FM can be compared to DAB
I can highly recommend this tuner

Thanks for the review boelle. Glad to hear more users having good experience with our tuners.
@boelle,
What power supply have you got?
@nrgizerbunny
I have tried to get the FM working but have had problems. I wonder if it is my aerial. The FM certainly is poor compared to the DAB.
Dave: Boelle has the M2-ATX from Mini Box he told me. Same as I do.
Sounds to me like its your aerial. Which do you have? Standard car fit or....?
@craig
I think it might be my touchscreen that is interfering on FM. It goes crackly whenever it is switched on.
@nrgizerbunny
Do you have any plans to release your board? I'm happy with the DAB on the board but sound integrated would allow me to ditch the soundcard. Many PCs now don't have a line in input, its mic in which amplifies it too much.
