    Hi PaulC,

The Blaupunkt FM/DAB antenna ... does it have one or two (FM & DAB) cables ?
Have you only tested the DAB or have you also tested the FM part of the module ?

    Hi

This test was only done with the DAB antenna connected at this stage. (FM not too good) The next test is to get the FM side connected and working

I use this antenna which works fine for both DAB and FM without the need for any multiplexer here in Norway.
    Failure is not an option...

Thanks for the advice, Borte. I'm afraid though that antennas with a rod not always is an alternative for tall cars. There will be problems with ceiling clearance in certain parking garages.

How do you fit those antenna's?
Do you need to drill a hole in the roof etc?

Well they are designed as replacements for existing roof aerials. You just unscrew the nut on the inside of the car and take the old aerial off. Slot the new aerial in and screw the new nut. I always pour water over it for a few minutes to confirm there isn't a leak.

If you don't have an existing hole, I imagine you'd have to drill one...

Yeah current Antenna is built into the rear window...
Going to try using that, but if it doesn't work, then i might have to look at other stuff...
Would an antenna work if it was inside the boot etc? Or does it HAVE to be outside?

    - Aerials (Glass Mount, Magnetic and Roof Replacement).

I will update you on the situation shortly.
Was about to order it last night but backing off after reading further that I may need to source the connector/new antenna from somewhere else. Appreciate if you could do the above. I'll need to agree with some of us here who voiced that the deterrence factor from us who're not living in US or UK/Europe is the shipping cost. If you could combine the radio + antenna/connector, that will really help us alot.

So, no news of the last week update?
The current release is useless as the plugin always crash after 30 minutes.
