soyfish, says to me the tuner was left on when you shutdown
for it to be ON when pc starts up!!
(i cant say for sure if CB's plugin, propertlly turns off tuner, when CF exists)
assuming, you are exiting CF... no idea what exactly you are doing
also andy's plugin is for venice5

VERY good reason for that. Centrafuse audio manager DOES NOT work correctly. We tried to get it working but it would not accept that people may wish to use something other than the default audio device for source / playback. Our custom code works much better.Quote:

I'll have this looked into. It is so our standalone plugin and Centrafuse could share the station lists as the standalone allowed sorting where as CF didn't in the early days of the plugin.Quote:

I have to say that andys plugin was working fine with a non default audio device using the code built into CF. Unfortunately, rolling your own solution is bound to break things on some platforms (and maybe fix things on others!)
I'm almost embarrassed to ask this, but I assume that the checkbox 'use only default devices' in sound/audio under control panel was *not* checked during your testing!?

I bought an Ultimate DAB radio a few weeks ago, it was working well in centrafuse until last week. after i got my OBDii/elm327 working. I've updated the plug-in hoping that would solve the problem but it hadn't.
the stand alone program works fine.
I've gone through the settings and the com port is correct and no other plug-in/ centrafuse program is using the same com port. I'm at a bit of a loss
any one have any idea whats going on?

I think I found out what is bugging me. When for example sometimes when I turn my car off the power supply tells the computer to turn off but for some reason It dosent. Insted I get warning that the program is busy and it asks me to retry or switch to the other program (I think I remembering this right) Next time Riderunner starts again and I switch to radio and try for example to scan/seek the radio jumps only 1 or 2 steps. If I shut down RR and start Dab_master and let it reboot the radio the problems seems to disapear.Quote:

if you rebooted and started rr, pressing the >> << should work the same at all times.. remember it has to be HELD, its so simple to review ur debug log, to see what happend when u pressed the << >>
also, what is "reboot the radio"
hold say the >> for 5 seconds... you sould see

Any chance that a future build can have an option 'let CF control Audio sources' or 'Let plugin control audio sources'. That would likely solve my 'no audio' issue, and probably other, similar issues with USB audio devices. Additionally, I bet many (likely the majority) are only using the default speakers/line-in.

Are you the only one having the no audio issue with the latest plugin from http://www.craigbrass.net/centrafuse.zip ? Can you hear *anything* when the plugin starts? Have you tried selecting other options in settings for output? Which sound card do you use?
I'd be reluctant to use both pieces of code as our code does work rather well in all the tests I have done.
