There is a design in it for a DAB+ and FM tuner built using a Venice 7 chip!
Even better.....it will be in part of a kit offered for sale by Jaycar Electronics in Australia in December, including a Venice 7 with slave firmware AND WORKING SPDIF AND I2C!!
There aren't any prices as yet, but I have emailed Jaycar to see if they will be offering just the Venice 7 module on its own, but guys, this could be the part we are waiting for!
Imagine! Not having to rip apart a radio, then try to fiddle around with replacing firmware! Imagine having pure, clean, digital audio straight to your carpc!
Please tell me someone is dead keen on this!!!
If anyone wants a copy of the article (It is for a full designed radio, with controller board and LCD and all that guff), let me know, I can grab a snappy of the pages and forward them on.
Will let you guys know if Jaycar confirm that they will be offering the Venice 7, as I think they will deliver to most places too.... :)
