Dont be too surprise if it accidentally come up with alarm clock menu, snooze and timer or something
During purchase of our unit from http://www.coolapplab.com/ultimate_c...ona/index.html you can add a good quality roof replacement, glass mount or magnetic mount. Personally I prefer the roof replacement and is what I use.Quote:
have we sorted out a suitable aerial solution for use in australia at all?
Well I've ordered mine now since the $ is going down and I do hope I get a new version (*hint)(*hint) without to many hiccups and delays (*hint)(*hint)
Feel free to throw in a roof mount antenna, since this thing has cost me an Kidney :D

Is it the entire radio you are wanting or just the chip? Maybe I should ship a load to you and you can eBay them :)Quote:
Is anyone coming to Sydney for a holiday, sadly this guys doesnt ship it outside the UK, and at that price, Id love to get one for the boat
The mag mount works okish with FM but perfect with DAB / DAB+. Glass mount is only good on DAB / DAB+. Replacement roof aerial is the best solution but has a socket for DAB and a socket for FM so you have to switch over. We are working on a multiplexer board to combine the signals which should be out next month.Quote:
Do those antenna's do both fm/DAB+ or is it only 1 or the other? what's the story with them?
Just FYI guys - the Tesco radios don't have an SMB connector on. This either needs to be soldered on or just wire soldered directly on.
