Tattieboogle has finally released the source for his working wired and wireless xbox360 controller driver for Mac. You can download the source here.

He's got the chatpad working with his wired controller and the fact that he has a working wireless controller driver might help someone get the wireless chatpad going.

Hey that's awesome. Can anyone with a Mac verify whether the wireless controller works with his driver?

Here's a howto video showing it working:

    HI GUYS!

I want to help with this drivers.

I can test the drivers for wireless version.

My controller is "made for Windows" like this: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en...er-for-windows , but mine is black.

    Below, the data from it:

    - Controller -
    Barcode: X853164-005 and 02880189473108

    - Chatpad -
    Barcode: X852479-001 and 010725604812

    My SO is a Windows 7 64bits, pt-br (yes, i'm a Brazilian).

Please, tell me what more I can help

PS: I have not tried to use the drivers in the site, because the Disclaimer tells "only for wired controls" and I want to help with my Wirelles control

    Thanks, and good work!

Really wanted to thank GAFBlizzard for the amazing work that has been done. I have been using xbmc with a xbox controller and feel that its the best controller solution for it. I don't have a chatpad yet. But wanted to confirm if anyone has tried these drivers on a windows machine "with xbmc" virtual keyboard. I am assuming it will work, but just trying to confirm the same.

Again, amazing work done by GAFBlizzard for fixing something MS should have given out of the box ...

I've tested the latest Tattiebogle driver (0.1.0) on OSX 10.7 Lion and 10.6 Snow Leopard and can't get the chatpad to work. My controller is a wired one, so I couldn't check the wireless connectivity.

I'm playing around with the source code to see if I can fix something, but I have never written a driver before and don't understand all of the code. It's clear that GAFBlizzard's driver is much more advanced than this one, at least the chatpad part.

I wonder how close we are to a wireless solution? The open source mac driver shows hows how to talk to wireless controllers, GAF's driver shows how to activate chatpad's and get keypresses from them via USB. Hopefully the puzzle pieces are now all on the table and they just need to be arranged correctly.

    Dear GAFBlizzard,

I have a 360 Controller USB Dongle. I only used it once and it's sitting in a drawer. I can ship it to you if you promise to ship it back when you're done with it.

Just send me a pm with your address if you're still looking for one. I would love to be able to use the controller with my PC on my TV, sans wires.

Just joined the forums to watch this thread. I'm not a CarPC user myself, but as a PC gamer + chatpad user I'm really anticipating the release of drivers for the wireless controller.

Anyone looking into the wireless drivers for Windows at the moment?
