CONTEST: Xbox Chatpad Driver Challenge

Has there been any progress on the wireless drivers?
It's sad to come back almost every week to see posts that are months apart when this looked so promising =/.
Is there anyway we can get this thread back in full force? I'm dying of anticipation!
It seems that the driver developer has basically given up after he got a wireless receiver and controller, maybe we could raise money and contact him?
I really would love to see the passionate progress that happened when the thread was in it's prime.

with luck, a good and capable person will do someday a version for windows ;_;

Hmm, seems like progress might be going further. Let's hope windows is next

If you read that page you'll see it's also only for wired controllers. As far as I know, he's basing the chatpad part of the xboxdrv code off the work that GAFBlizzard has done earlier in this thread. In other words, the chatpad works for wired controllers on both Windows and Linux.

The real problem here is that few people use wired controllers anymore, so the wired driver is just a tease when all you have (or want) is wireless.

There aren't ANY wired controllers in or around my area, and I don't have the resources to buy one online, plus even if I did, it's really hard to find an official xbox wired controller...
It's really depressing to me how often this topic goes inactive, with no word from anyone, and it seems like no one really cares about trying to get enough support to put the thread back into it's glory days.
I don't understand why this has died down so fast, and it seems no one has heard from GAFBlizzard for a long while =/.
Are there any users that would be interested in helping out, even if it's just to rally support?

Any news on a signed driver yet? It works great for me but the whole F8 key and Disable Driver Signing is a bit of a PITA.

Would like to hear some info on any progress regarding the chatpad with the WIRELESS 360 Controller for PC.

It's so ridiculous Microsoft created this great product and have no desire to follow up with it.

I'm very tempted to buy the wired controller as I already have the chatpad.. But i'm holding out hope.. and being extremely lazy cuz pressing F8 everytime i reboot seems like something I would forget to do more often then not.
