I'm considering ditching my car PC and buying a standard double din head unit simply because of the iphone/ipod support.
This might sound silly, but I would pay whatever the price would be. For people that use their iPhone/itunes to manage their media it would be amazing. I listen to podcasts and audiobooks. I also travel for work, so to keep all the media sync at the same point is a pain in the butt. Had i known that the iPod support was so poor on the current front ends I would have simply purchased a double din head unit.
So my vote is YES.
