Car Security...

Im Thinking to get a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria as my first car soon. Since I will be getting it i've been researching so much about CarPC's, Multiple LED Projects, And a big rare project and that is... installing a Xbox 360 and/or NES console. But Im not so much the key type guy, and im kinda in a situation were I got a choice to make.

Can you guys help me out? Do you think I should go Finger or Keypad/button? Off-Topic By the way I plan to upload daily Vlogs on my Ford Crown Victoria. (Only on the days That Im working on the car.)

Last summer i did a hardware review on this site on a similar device that used fingerprint to start the car. The problem is and always will be that you still have to put the key in the ignition and turn it. As a security feature only, it does add a layer of protection, but in real world use its about as useful as locking your doors with your key then using your keyfob to activate an alarm.

And I'd rather lose my fob than a finger.

I see/understand where you are going at... Im just the type of guy who loves working on computers and cars! If there is any mod that is possible, I plan to work on it. :D

I might just try super hard to replace my key with a custom keypad and sleek start button (That Might be tricky but it will be so the Asianwolf keypad dosen't look oddball with the color and stuff.)

It would be very nice to add the fingerprint instead of the keypad but Im not sure how great it is. (Considering the fact that you "still need the key".) I think it would be possible to install a fingerprint device and a Sleek start button instead of a key.
