CallingConvention = Sorry, no idea why, but no errors here. Only reason it's there for that one is because I think i copied it from one of your posts

I'm running on vb.net but I have to use the callingconvention equivalent too. Otherwise I get the pinvoke stack imbalance errors like dabbler.
Does anyone know how you convert the "sub" procedures over to vb.net equivalents, I'm okay with the functions statements but "MotReset" is a sub procedure which messes up on my declaration for it.
thanks in advance

Sorry, no idea. In C#, I useMotMode is an sbyte:MotReset(MotMode.SlideShow);
MotReset(MotMode.EPG);public enum MotMode : sbyte
{
SlideShow = 0,
EPG = 1
}
I'm in the process of writing my own class for control of the radio.
Can anyone get the slave notification settings to work? I do a set then listen on the serial port and don't get anything back - i'm mainly thinking for a programme text update.

Yes, I use the program Text notification.
Could be a few things. The station you are tuned too might not send them, or more likely, you may be setting the incorrect bit in the Set Notification command.
PM me if you want to do a code 'show and tell'. NDA and all that![]()
PM sent. At least I don't get any pinvoke errors!

Small update:
1stly, appologies on the late update (between xmas, buying a house and 2 kids under 3, leaves little ME and carpc time :-) )
I have tested these window mount antennas and the results are not that different from the supplies aerial. I am however in the process of modifiying them to see if I can get better gain in the car. Will keep you posted. All else fails, I'll just invest in a dab-on-wheels car aerial.
Also, MitchJ posted a ebay link which is not available anymore. Can someone repost this please?

Copy and pasting the same item title on ebay search give me this :

The board should work with a simple wire antenna, it is possible that your carpc/psu is killing the signal. Have you tried testing it with a laptop/netbook? they generaly emitt less interference.
Did you manage to resolve this issue? I think we might have the same problem, I get a tone which conincide with the RX/TX LED flashing.
Hi IF,
Re ebay link: I did try that but it says the item has been removed from ebay - all good thanks anyway
Re noise issue: I still have issue. JB from Dabmonkey recommends Mickz's solution of earthing the board's earth onto pc chassis - have not yet tried this. If all else fails, I have been recommended a groundloop isolator connected inline with dab board and linein of pc. You will lose some midrange sound with this solution.
Also, are you using amped aerial or supplied aerial?
Ill be playning with the carPC abit shortly to solve these issues once and for all. Will report any fixes
