    1. Keypad for directly entry of an FM frequency now has large numbers.

    2. List up/down buttons change to a POINT and an OK button when in Direct FM freq mode.

    3. Minor fixes and cleanup of code.

    4. Cleaned up DAB station Rescan exit code and removed warning for deleting Presets.

If you have already set your presets with the previous EXE update then just copy them across to this new app directory and everything will stay the same.
Iím also going to put this link on the first page for anyone who may interested.

New exe file uploaded today (edit time) for the new screen layout above. NOTE these are different from previous as the List and Preset buttons now change size to make better use of the list function. (huge clean up of the old (get it going in a hurry) test code including a rewrite of trial Resize code.

This is the last update as far it goes. Only changes will be for bug’s if/when I or someone finds them or if someone is using the app and would like some changes or additions, like keystroke inputs. I have updated the links to the APP and the single program file on the 1st post. Slight change to some graphics so downloading the APP would be best as it includes these and the new program file of course. As I mentioned above, complete rewrite of the sizing code and drag drop code and lots of knock up quick test code rewritten. I will upload the source code when I’m sure everything is running correctly.

    Cheers.

    Awesome man!

I'll test this out tomorrow, but it looks good!

I had a bit of a look into writing a centrafuse plugin, but have managed to get your app embedded and running nicely.

Will let you know of any bugs and such, I believe I am the only one? With a board and your software currently???

Thanks for replying Dexamenus, if you need it to take any key commands from the FE let me know.

NOTE: I found a bug in the on/off logic and decided to add an Auto-On option to the APP so the Radio powers on when an FE loads it. This option in is the com port settings window.

The single EXE update also has two graphic files in it. Copy them to the Image/Setup folder or just download the complete APP again. More fine tuning to the resize logic so I’m happy with it now.

UPDATE: Also cleaned up DAB Station RESACN logic to allow for almost any returned or error result, also a problem if someone pressed the PWR on button as auto start was initalised.

    Cheers.

There WAS something else I had on my wish list after all

When you rescan the DAB Stations in a new area, all DAB and FM presets are preserved. However I thought it would be a nice feature if after the scan; any Presets that were not in the new Station list could be shown with a place marker. It saves needlessly clicking on a preset only to find it does nothing. Having a place marker lets you know a preset is in that button and gives you the option of overwriting the preset or leaving it until the next DAB scan back in your home location, at which time it will reappear.

    Anyway its done and uploaded

Preset place markers after a rescan with stations missing.

One push DOWN of the big scroll button changes the layout from DAB 1-5 to Station list scrolling display.
When scrolling up, DAB 1-5 reappear when you get to the top of the Station list.

Thanks SNO for the encouragement but on it goes.

A number of FM stations are now displaying a station name instead of the frequency. The original DEMO app would not allow a Drag/Drop of a name, only a frequency, so you had to catch the freq display before setting the preset.

My app allows you to drag / drop the Station name to a preset. The Station name is now displayed on the Preset, not the frequency. This mod means that Dexamenus who I think is the only one testing / using my app will have to redo his FM presets, apologies.

There was also the unaddressed problem of clearing a preset. To clear a preset in my app: Click and drag the “Power on” button to a preset button and it’s cleared.

Found a bug when pressing the Next/Previous buttons in FM, where they stayed selected: Fixed.

Button graphics have been modified for a cleaner look so it’s best to download the complete APP if you are interested in it. (Its on Page 1)

Haha no worries at all for me, I'm still well and truly in the bench-testing stage and am very happy with your app!

Will test the new app shortly!

Sorry, me too - got mine last week. I have to say Mickz, you've made this whole experience a very easy expedition. Anyone reading this, this radio module works great and dead easy to get up and running. The front-end side as it is now is brilliant (fabulous, if you're wearing heals). You chaps are a credit to yourselves..
