As an experimenting product, I would said what ever cost less and faster/easier to implement, go for it. But in this world I don't think we can have all 3 (cheap/fast/easy)
USB or LPT doesn't matter. As a final product, I would refer USB because the cable is a lot smaller -> easier to run. Another reason is that USB is seem to be the current/future for all devices.

I would go for USB as well, but who is going to write the driver? (as it would need to be reliable)
We are, will have and forever will be...
    But not tommorrow!

I strongly disagree, there are plenty of USB room. we could have up to 8 devices or even more. My LPT port is already taken by a controller. The extra cost is not that big of a deal when you look at whole picture and see what are you getting in return. It is simple availability, 1 LPT port Vs. 8 USB.

    I would go for USB.

You can have a USB hub that will make 7 more USBs

On a side note we're not using the 5V line of the USB interface so no worries if you put it in a non-powered hub along with other USB devices...

Trying to follow this thread leaves me confused!! A look at my post count leaves me little room to request what I want but here goes!

I will gladly accept anything that provides reliable FM and decent AM reception. Don't care about the antenna thing. The only requests I have for connecting is no ISA!!

Ok, when can I get one!!
