    Please tell us you did not connect all the lines to each other, and worse, that you can't figure out why, when you connect all the wires together, you blow a fuse.

    lol, ok i connected the individual wires together, just like i did for the serial cable part. Just the pin 1,2,3 are like a y with a switch. Other than that the power cables go straight through. I realized i blew the fuse because one of my solders was touching the shield and shorting it out.

    I spliced the wire between the XM unit and the Pioneer controller.

    Basically I just want to know if I am going about this the right way. If one of you could explain it a bit better it would be much appreciated.
