    ehh anywhere I can get that cable or a connector or whatever fast? Like locally? I checked radioshack and walmart's sites. No luck =\ I really don't want to wait on the cable is all...
    CarPC install is starting to come along again...

    does this work with a serial 2 usb adapter?

    i am currently using my odbII tool in my serial port.

    Usb to RS232 does work , also what do you guys think of us making a kit for do it your self, we buy all our parts in large orders so we could make it abit cheaper and easyer for you to get all you parts.

    Compusa has the cables, special order only though. I have mine connected to the computer via a USB to serial adapter, which it works because it just makes a virtual com port. Yes you can activate before installing.

    We will be posting a nice wizard based loader program on the forums here. It allows you to use any PCR based software.

    I should be posting it sometime tomorrow.
