One of our packages will include a backup bamera(w/ automatic turnon), working with FP

Check this out. I am going to go with some of these items. They are rather expensive, but the flexability will be worth it.
I am looking at the IOADR1630 Hybrid 16-Relay 30-Amp SPST Controller with Integrated I/O + A/D
cheese box, search ebay, I got one for $35... it takes a composite (RCA) and interrupts the VGA from CPU to monitor... search the forums there is also a how to that walks you through changing the button to momentary and allowing the reverse to trigger it...
I think the xenarc 8" AV1 input gets activated automatically when it recieves a signal, and switches back to VGA (or any previous input) when deactivated. You can use your reverse light wire to power your camera and use RCA inputs to connect it to the screen. When you put your gear on reverse, your reverse lights go on, powering up the camera and switching your screen to the backup view.
i just installed the 700tsv in my car. the camera is powered by my reverse lights. the problem is that the xenarc should have auto-detect LINE 1 or LINE 2 when the cameras powered up.
the xenarcs not picking up my camera signal. i tried another camera thinking maybe the other camera is a dud. still no luck.
i read around the forum and the closes topic i got was here
Hey Ramy Zohair. i understand completely what your saying but my xenarcs not picking up automatically when my camera is hooked up to LINE 1. in otherwords. im stumped. tried rechecking all wiring still no luck. the only conclusion i have, pointed toward the xenarc.
if i use the remote i can choose vga,line-1,or line-2. this is the only way the camera can be shown.(manually change to line-1)
Im hoping to get the xenarc to switch from vga to line-1 automatically.
help anybody. thanks
