A small update abt the project, Rando could you update FAQ?

So the unit is working, meaning hanging on a CD player and selecting it gives the sound on the output without any noticable distortion. Today I will try the phone and navigation input aswell.
The tuner works aswell but I need to get the car antenna in function to get a good reception, also the RDS data will be checked.
PCB, I had two made for the prototypes and encountered a few small problems which are solved now.
The PIC is still somewhere between Thailand and Belgium but I hope I can expect it this week (been sent last week) till then we use another type without USB on RS232.
The code for the USB PIC is already written round 50% and when finished I will publish the information how it's controlled in order to write SW for the PC.
I also will make some small video's about the testing to show it's working and a mp3 file for example from the video where I switch from CD to tuner.
And I guess when all finished that I will have to buy a huge present for my girlfriend for spending too less time with her

I made a small movie together with a MP3 file of the module while it was tested.
The first music you hear comes from a MD player connected to the AUX input of the module. Second music is the tuner tuned to Radio Donna and after the long mute you hear radio Q Music followed by the MD again.
Note that the input level aren't correct because the MD doesn't have a line out only optical or head set. Commands are given by I2C directly because the software for the PIC isn't complete yet, this is also the reason of the long mute because all the addresses, bytes and data need to be entered one by one. The reception is in house with a normal car antenna. The little PCB by the PC is a small interface I made to go from LPT to I2C.
The mixed music is because I skipped the muting while changing.
