I just hope it sounds that good in a moving vehicle. By looking at all the research and planning that has gone into this, I'm sure it will be just fine. Keep up the great work!

Hey man, i am really sorry for the recent death in your family. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during your greeving period
It sounded great to me... but as we all know this is stationary. The real test is in a moving vehicle. I remember the radio xtreme sounded great until the car started moving.Originally Posted by strohmrs

Sounds great! About the driver, will the driver be open source (or at least the specifications) so I can write a driver for Linux? Good to hear things are coming along.
The goal is to make everything public. I just updated the FAQ to make this clearer.Originally Posted by TheLlama

Yes, it's in the FAQ. Remember, those are just preliminary test results.
The board works just like a standard HU radio. It decodes seperate L/R FM channels and routes the audio out the F/R stereo pairs. The board can control volume, balance, fading, bass, treble, and select between AM/FM and Line-In1, Line-In2.
WOW, that is the greatest Car-PC Projekt I've ever seen on the Internet, I just kicked my "WinTV to Go" out of the Window *g* I can't wait till that project really got released.
I've read that you won't have any donation, so let me just say:
