the Test progressions are the most interessting at all but there hasn't been any change since 5/25/2005 (and jes I read the FAQ, that'S why I know the date )

has there been any progress or are there any problems why/because this projekt could have maked a brake??

The only problem this project (CRAM) is facing right now is funding. We need some time to find someone (or convince someone) to put let's say $12,000 on the line up front. It ain't easy...

Other than that we have (months ago) reached a stable design (let's call it rev 1) and we finished testing it (recently) and found that it performs as planned and is perfectly safe to use in an automotive environment (no current/voltage/RF leakage of any kind, in-unit voltage regulation works well and the operating temperature range is satisfactory taking into account that the unit worked flawlessly without receiving any kind of passive or active cooling during a head dryer session )

I'm sorry if you believe we're moving slowly but I'm afraid we CAN'T move faster.

Is the funding needed for a mass production or is this needed to meet the minimum order ? Would it not be possible to sell it in kit form or something ? I dont have that much money floating around, but if say 12 people could be found they maybe I could be one of the 12.

Mass production. The MOQ is for now overcome.

would it help to take payment for orders up-front?

from a business point of view I think it would be better before you mass produce the product, to get a 100 or so out in the field to do 3 things.. 1. to test your unit and giv e you feedback, 2 to provide yourself with a good idea on just how many units are going to be needed on the first mass production order.. 3. to cause a buzz / hype about your product which will also allow you to do a pre-order site/page which will generate money to help pay for the first mass production order. Even if you dont make any money from the first 100 or so rev 1 releases it will at least give you a good base to start from..

I don't think Seth wants to take any money upfront until he has a deliverable
