This maybe a stupid question, but is audio also through the serial cable or have to connect to the RCA plugs?
Ok, so I did this exact setup, twice actually. And it won't work. I'm on a Mac Mini, and using a serial to USB adapter....
Using MacXM, it tells me that the device is not found. I know I am getting 12volts, and I have checked and rechecked the wiring.
PLS HELP!!!!
Thanks,
Tom

RCA's.
Well, just started playing with the XM Direct unit. Still trying to get it to work.
One major question, how do I get the audio out. I have purchased an RCA to 1/8 stereo plug, and am feeding that into the computers "line in", with speakers connected to the appropriate place. Assuming I can get the XM to work correctly, will I be able to get sound to my computer speakers this way?
