The breadboard version has been in my car for a few months now. I submitted a test pcb @ batchpcb the first week of january. I just now sent em an email because it seems the PCB wasn't panelized or was lost when cutout. Got an email back saying they were looking into it and would get back to me with an answer asap basically.

Sorry that this is taking so long for anyone whos actually interested...

Ever think about making the source available? (if you have, I havn't read the entire thread...) I've written a gui in c# for a very similar project, maybe we could combine.

    Anyways, let me know...

the gui code will be open source (it was the first semi-real Windows program I've written so it's probally fairly scary looking )

    bumpppppppppppppp

FINALLY the board came in - here it is mostly assembled - not too shabby...I forgot to tie the first pin high but a wire trace fixed that and I layed the relays out upside down (they fit fine on the underside of the board which is how I put this first version together just to get it running)

but other than that it works! and the next board I get made will fix those stupid mistakes :P

the downside - my transmission just died and getting it back on the road is more important than making pcbs so I'll finish this up as soon as possible (can't use a carpc if the car won't move :P)

(edit: The relays have the plugs on the top of them and the next version ill have a header/plug for expanding the number of relays)

This guy is in Australia (prices are in $AUD). I have bought the oscilloscope kit off him and the quality of his kits are quite good. I would definately recommend his stuff.
