Anyone who's still paying attention to this pain in the *** project - please check my other thread in hw dev and test out the software end of things and get me some feedback. You'll need .NET as it uses it for reading XML files.

If you can't learn how to diy, learn how to use your resources. Go to Microchip's site and download their sample code. ...Not to mention I just used Microchip's lib and if that is really a final year engineering project your teacher would fail your *** for the project being too easy and you not even knowing how the USB protocol works. :-P

I see someone has posted a question concerning a relay controller and VB. Similar to Zac i have semi-designed a system which is an output controller which does have a VB front end.

Further more, it is also USB controlled and will / may have an option to have an intelligent start-up / shutdown controller. For example the settings of the SuSd controller will be sent to the board via the VB front end. Fully user customisable without having to get to the board to change jumper settings etc.

Just so people know it is in development.
