I was wondering how I could connect a large matrix of LED's to a computer and turn them on/off.
I know how to connect them so that they would run off the battery, but I do not know how I could turn any combination of them on or off when I wanted.

Typing in "LED" in google is one of the worst things you can do. And I am looking for something to control hundreds of LED's.
