And from what i read,i see that this interface is in progres and its not finished for amater users like me.
=> There is a ready made solution, search for Connects2 interface for Renault on http://www.connects2.com.

Does any body hav the interface for tuner list thats work?
Why do i need this interface, that the radio thinks that have cd changer connected on blue conector?
=> Correct, the interface is constructed to communicate with a CD changer, so that the HU can control the CD changer to pause, play, next track ... If you are planning to install a car PC you could use the steering wheel controls to control your mediaplayer, look at Vicne's SourceForge pages.

Maybee im interesed for car pc,but i see that there is no interface to control trough steering wheel controls, too,so maybe is best to buy new carradio.
    => See previous answer.

But if i had a update list or cd radio younger than 2002,than i can normaly enable aux in ant i need just a cable to connect an outside mp3 player?
=> True, I have an Update List HU and I use the AUX input that is directly connected to the soundcard of my car PC. But I already bought the components to build an interface between my car PC and the CD changer interface, in this way I can use the steering wheel controls in my PC's software. This gives me a lot more options then just using the AUX input.

So,only option than is car pc.
Thanx for your answers, but could you write what i need to control PC trough a steering whell control and listen audio from PC on HU tuner list?

I need normal PC with sound card, than i need what adapter to conect PC sound with HU tuner list aux-in?

And what interface to control pc trough controls on steering wheel? That link that you gave me,ok i can download this program but what to do nex,and how to conect PC with head unit and steering controls with cables(hardware).

Why dont someone make a post and al the nesesery thigs put in one post with pictures.I belive that to you and others who are developers of this stuff can do this interface and other to work, but 80% of users on this forum dont know what to do when you get the link, some stuf there, search on this site, search on that site this is very confusing.

No, not a "normal" PC : for simplicity, you need a PC with a coaxial SPDIF output (on the motherboard or on a soundblaster)

If you can find one, then you should probably take a look at the homepage of the project, but also on the FAQ and hardware pages.

Well, I agree that this thread becomes rather long (more than 600 posts) and that it's not easy to find accurate information, but I'm afraid adding one more post of summary would be useless as it would get buried as new posts come in.

The pages given above were written exactly for that purpose.

If you still have questions after reading these pages, don't hesitate to ask.

    Best regards,

    Vicne.

    Sorry, but no good news

I made the pcb that should work, but no signal, or when signal goes it transmits no sound, just silence

I have read the datasheet over and over again but I didn't find error in my pcb. I just don't get it.

Does averybody have any ideas ?

Perhaps the amp you plug it into doesn't like 18bit SPDIF ?

That's impossible. The op.amp has nothing to do with that part. It is only an input buffer. It is required to prevent the noise and to gain a little bit.

Sometimes I think I should give up, but then I go on

I have made some tests and I found a very funny thing. I was measuring the voltages on all over the pcb and I discovered when I'm measuring between ground and 1 leg of the cristal it gives sound. Perfectly clear good sound. So the op.amp ig good.

    Any ideas ?

No I meant the hifi system you plug the SPDIF into, to hear what comes out of it, perhaps it doesn't like 18bit ?

I don't think there is any problem with the hifi. If this would be the problem, then no signal and of course no sound would be.

It is almost ready, I only have to solve 1 problem. When it's done I will post the schematics and the board also.
