    Thanks for the info guys I appreciate it!

    Michael, I was confused with thanatos link that he provided it seemed as if one would need to do that mod in the link for it to work.

    No problem. I got worried for a while that I was seeing things. Also, I think he had 2 links, the other needed to be modded.

    One link with a USB adapter with ext connector and other link with a "how to do" MOD for how to make it yourself

    I just recently bought this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5852121599 for $40 and am pretty pleased with it. I also bought a magnetic mount external antenna (7dbi), but the antenna that came with it actually does a much better job.

    Buffalo makes a sweet one... its usb 2.0 and takes a mc something connection which you can pick up a magnetic antenna on ebay for 15 bucks... I got my buffalo for dirt... think 19 on ebay. Range is pretty dang good. I was picking up wifi from about 300 yards through my house with it.

    That is what I am using, though have not tried an external antenna. I want to know how that compares to these allegedly high powered miniPCI versions.
