    External Hard Drive Powerdown?

I will be using an external 3.5 HD and am wondering how much power is used when it spins down and (am assuming) "sleeps"... Anybody have any information like this?
    Carputer Progress:

    Re-do fabrication of screen [DONE]
Add mini-USB and micro-USB power from M2-ATX [DONE]
    Teardown PC [100%]
Add HDMI > VGA converter [0%]

You mean when the light is on but the hard drive isn't being used?

The motor uses most of the power so I would guess 1/2 or 1/4 of the orginal consumption.
Spent all my money on carputers now I have to work a real job.
