Afaik, all outputs at line level will be unbalanced.

For starters, we will only sell the small one (meant to be buillt into the pc-case), called HQCT-i on the site (i for internal), as that's the only one in production at the moment.

Later on, we will also sell what we call the HQCT-eA (eA for external & Amplified) which is the version with integrated 4*50w amplifier, comparable with the integrated amplifier in a headunit.

There is another version that could be produced too, which is the same as the HQCT-i but has its own regulated power supply and external connectors. This one is meant to be used in a separate enclosure.
If you want this version, you could build it yourself, based on the HQCT-i, with 2 voltage-regulators (+5v and +12v) a housing and some connectors.

Good idea with the naming. I know I've been confused by "Which one is A? B? C? II?".

aeroanderz, It would be very easy, even if you do not have any electrical or soldering knowledge. I'm guessing a 7805 and 7812 will do the trick. If you're not comfortable I know that several people around here will assemble it for a small fee.

Thanks guys, I did a quick google and found that balanced line driver circuits are really cheap so I'll have to create something suitable from the HQCT-i then...

This is going to be really nice..
