The fakra -> motorola adapter will be an option.

Freight should be ok, will get info on the pricing for shipping soon.

Pinouts for the header will come later on, need to get them from datalex.

Concerning the pricing, I can only say that it's a big effort on the side of datalex, and they won't even get back their development investments anytime soon at that price.

This is a small project, with high quality engineering and components, on a small scale.
When using mass-production, you get better prices for components and production, but if you get stuck with 5000 non-sold items you're fuxored.

Anyone want to take the risk at this point?

The paypal button doesn't work yet, as it's not for sale yet waiting for the first batch to be finished by datalex (93 of 100 passed the first test, now they're assembling these)...

    Concerning antenna connections:

Instead of the SMB connector we also have a connection which takes the coax cable directly. Only demand is that you can solder 2 wires.

    Pictures will follow

We have no idea what the request is for this type, 50% this and 50% SMB ???

if its up to soldering, we could just use whatever shielded connectors we can find, i know i have a box of them sitting around my office somewhere...

i like the option to solder my own connections on the board.

    Centrafuse Support?

Does anyone know if the Centrafuse author(s) will be getting one of these devices so they can start working on supporting them?

ya so i'm putty together a carputer as a project for one of my classes at college and i need to have a functional install in by the 28th of this month. I need to know now if I am going to be able to get one of these tuner's before the 28th (I ilive in upper michigan). if not then i'm just going to buy some POS temp card for demo-ing the setup and then get one of your tuners later once they are available.

Please advise on if you definitely have units shipped by the week of the 24th or not, Thanks!

    I vote for coax!!!
The idea of being able to solder it is fine for me.
Did you made test of roaming frequency? I mean automatic switching to best reception frequency? It may be very useful in alps. (the belgium is a flat country so it should work without it, but not around my home!)

Possibly, but there may not be much software to drive it at that point.
