is there a list of which frontend dev's have one, and which frontends have the software implemented?
the code can be read out of the text file but RR has no provision for reading it in. Guino used my code and modified it adding RR communications (basically), when i mailed him the last version of HQCT he had his RR version out, since he is on the road this week it will take a bit longer before these last improvements are in the RRHQCT.Can the code be read out of this text file and put in the ini file so RR can read it ?
When using HQCT software you can hit the 'Read EEPROM' button', wait a few seconds (watch the level, when it is changing rapidly again) and then hit the 'Apply' button (check if the field above the 'Read EEPROM' button has valid data, ie not all zeroes or A9) from then on the program will use the correct constants for that particular tuner module, it should give a difference in reception. (The very last issue of HQCT software does it automatically, but you can still perform the manual sequence, this very last version also has the seek buttons for AM)
I am preparing a post with more data and explanation but i need a couple of 48 hour days to get it in a presentable form.

the tenth control byte in the array next to 'Send Settings' should read 00, bits 3 and 4 of this particular byte control the radio signal input gain of the audio controller (see attached docs)Is there another internal volume control which I can lower slightly ?
I do think however the problem is caused by wrong tuning constants

Yes there was a problem with my cable. After cutting some usb cables and soldering few things, the unit can be detected now.Originally Posted by JC-S60

I got all the parts I need from RS components http://rswww.com/ in the UK, they stock a good selection of male and female SMB connectors to make your own extension cables as well as some pre-made cables. You can also get the 2x5 IDC sockets and ribbon cable to make your own USB conection cable to attach to you motherboard header.Originally Posted by bigbun
