HQCT Module (new thread following HU RDS/RDBS)

I bought one of the very first HQCT units from mp3car.com when they first came out. I finally got around to installing it and working with it.

I went to the website and got the latest software. I downloaded the software designed for a touch screen.

I'm running in to some problems. The first being, if you close the application there is still audio coming in from the radio on the last channel you were on. It is very faint. I usualy have to hit the button on the program to change to either CD or Navigation input for the audio to stop.

The other problem I have it with the station tuner. 99% of the time when I move the dial to a channel or even hit a preset it is nothing but static. I find I have to hit the preset button once, and then again and it actually loads the station, as if it meant to change the channel but didn't. It does the same thing when dragging the channel finder.

I haven't posted for a while as I have been beta testing Luc's new software for the HQCT.

I now get very good reception!

There are still some improvements to the software needed, IMHO.

I suspect these will be done soon and I will exclaim the greatness of the HQCT!
