    Laptop keyboard mod.

Is there any way to mod a laptop keyboard to work with a PS2 keyboard connection on a desktop?

    Please help.

Would probably depend on the laptop. I say open it up, remove it, and look at the connector to start with, might give you some clue.

    Agreed.
If the laptop keyboard is a circuit board, and the cable/ribbon is 4/6 pins (4 i think but not 100% sure, kinda brain dead) then u in luck and can probably mod to ps2 conn, if not, then u probably out of luck.
    guessing its most likey modable.
    Doubt they reinvented the wheel.

Really doubtful as the keyboard that notebooks use do not have the controller built into them as the controller is part of the motherboard and not removable.

Yes, but some of us here in the mp3car community are cheap and would rather hack dead hardware than buy something new. If its electrically PS2 compatible, you could make an adapter in under an hour. Dont discourage the DIY'ers
