    Done.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Were all set to go, just waiting now for the ibus adapter to get here.

I found out how to get the ibus working without the ibus. I spoke with the guys on hackthe ibus and they confirmed the hook up goes like this:
12v pin: Give 12v+ to the Ibus interface and the DICE unit
Ibus pin: Give 12v+ with 1kohm resistor to the Ibus and DICE unit
Gnd: Ground to both Ibus interface and DICE unit

I wouldn't worry too much, the car is very reslient...

I had a short on a circuit for the ibus lines, and it was fine. I took it off right away though.

I even once put the battery terminals the wrong way around once, after checking it 3 times... I don't knwo what happened to me, I think I took too much medicine or something. Anyway, I got off lightly with only the FM antenna amplifier blowing up.

    chatted with mitch

Had a chat with mitchjs last night, basically asking him if it was worth going down the path of decoding the I2C bus to perhaps eliminate the need for the ibus/usb converter, and having a I2C/USB direct interface. He thought the cost wouldn't be much less and that the path we are currently following will be the easiest.
TruckPC - gutted, being used for test setup
BoatPC - off season - Inelmac screen needs serviced again!
BlazerPC - last vehicle PC I'll build

Yeah he PMd me last night. I think that we are good the way we have done it
    1. We have a stable interface
    2. Its has Roadrunner support
    3. Its possible that we might be able to add other devices on later
