Sound card "game theater xp" is it good enough for me?

I'm planning to build SQ carpc, i already have this sound cars in my home "hercules game theater xp" it dont have ASIO.

What are you say? will it be good for me?

I have never heard of your sound card but i'll give my two cents. I personally can not hear a difference between ASIO and non ASIO playback. The only time I have ever used it is when recording live instruments. Unless of course you want to do DSP through the carputer. Then ASIO is pretty important.
