i can't be sure of CF, but rr uses the windows volume control, so if this is not availible, it wont work (my initial problem was not enabling the volume control option for vac).
I will look your thread.
In Cf if you don't have enabled "Master as PRE" then move WAWE volume if you enable this then move master volume(If I remember corect).
If your sound card doesn't have Master volume this is little strange because usualy Sound cards have Master volume control...
Another option is using Line Driver with remote for controling output...

I have problem with my ASIO setup :S
I don't know how to "route" all audio to ASIo Input on my soundcard ASIO driver. Can someone help me?
Im try use VAC+ASIO4ALL+Console+VST plugins but without good SQ results. I get some random popping...
What Im do?
In VAC:
-----------------------------
Cables: 1
SR: 22050 .. 96000
BPS: 8 .. 24
NC: 1..2
Max inst: 20 Ms per int: 7
Stream fmt: Cable range
Volume control: enabled
Connected source lines: Line
Clock corr.: 100%
-----------------------------
ASIO4ALL:
-----------------------------
Latency compenstation: 32 Samples(For in and out)
Hardware buffer: disabled(Im try enable it but is same)
Kernel Buffers: 2 (Im try 4 to but is same)
Always Resample 44.1kHz <-> 48kHz: disabled
Force WDM Driver To 16Bit: disabled
Asio Buffer size: 2048 (Im also try 1024, 512, 256)
-----------------------------
Can someone help me how to play music direct to ASIO input from CF?
this is still one of my biggest problems(random pops)-- and i have also been looking for a solution--the problem is that console only accepts one asio driver-- so you can only have one input/output device (the reason for asio4all)
i have gotten the pops to be very minimal by increasing the interupts(in VAC) to the max(i beleive it is 15).
just to let you know, heres what didn't work for me:
vac-- changing the clock speed-- this made it worse- but only briefly made it better, (i still think that there are mulitple clocks that are not being synced properly) changing the type of cable- no difference. changing the cable format type- little difference.
in console, i have also tried changing the syncronization delay(in properties, under the audio tab, it will be at the bottom after selecting asio driver) in console, to both the max, and the minimum, but it doesn't seem to change anything.
and in asio4all, i have am currently running:
latency compensation-- 1024 in and out (max)
asio buffer size -- 2048(max)
don't remember the other settings.
my next step is to find a midi driver for winamp (or at least a way to pipe computer audio into a simulated midi device and bypass vac and asio4all).
this winamp--vac--asio4all--console thing, is like 2 bandaids on a rash...
i am not near my car, so it could be 20, i just remember putting it up to the highest number and it started working better
the problem though, is that you are only allowed the one asio driver(it takes over both the input and output) in console, and are not allowed to mix and match drivers (you can't have asio output, and wdm driver input) if this was the case, it would make software like VAC and A4A useless.
edit: i am also using console to divide the signal to the different speakers, and the wdm drivers for my equipment would only allow on pair of outputs, so i am forced to use some sort of asio drivers to route a signal to all 3 pairs of speakers.
by using a midi driver, i am hoping that i can bypass VAC and A4A, and use the asio driver for my usb soundcard(my soundcard is only output, not any input-part of my issue).
did you fidn a way o bypass vac and a4a?

could you say me how to do this with audiomulch?![]()

I, too, switched to Audio Mulch, and am happy to be rid of asio4all. I still use VAC for input, but I just use the regular Windows DirectSound driver for output. My audio is happier.
