I'm curious to know where in VA these can be found. I'm interested in purchasing one to see if it adds to my sound experience.
just picked up one of these on amazon. I'm hopefully for a noticeable increase in sound quality in my car (still utilizing a passive 2.1 system for now), but what i'd really like to do is get away from depending on the realtek drivers my stock motherboard provides. At this point I barely have any control over my sub channel. In fact the only way i can control it at all is using the 5.1 RealTek setup, and as a drawback of that, ALL OF my voice audio (nav instructions, voice feedback from RR etc) is piped through the sub. This is because the sub and center channel speaker share the same port, and i dont have a center channel speaker.
So i'm hoping the music streamer II will just send all audio via 2 channel to my 5.1 channel HiFonics amp, and the amp will handle up the up-mixing to the proper source. I know the amp can up-mix properly, so that should take care of it.
