Absolutely. Macs are nice, for sure. I love Windows 7, but yeah, Vista was a huge failure. I've always wanted to get one of those tough books just for fun, but never could bring myself to buying one lol. I'm sure they're alot of fun. That dude runs it over and stuff, lol

I sprayed mine a fire hose from about 20 feet away with about 100 psi at the nozzle.Oh and the toughbook was open. I hit the screen first it flipped backward slammed down and shut. Then in slid like 40 feet. So i went up to it almost positive i destroyed the screen.... Nope! the whole thing was fine other then the scratches from the ground. as far as computing power goes.. well lets not embarrass them.

LMFAO, that's awesome. I'd love to see that! Those fire hoses have some serious pressure. That cracks me up!

There was a point of disappointment when i realized the only thing that was gonna destroy the thing was an ax to the lcd.

How on earth do you explain "accidental fire hose blast to the screen" to a potential buyer?!

Don't tell em? lol, idk, if it still works, hell, that could be a selling point! "Well, I hit it w/ a fire hose, and it still works. I'm pretty sure there's nothing you could do to it that would hurt it". Something like that?

BTW, toaster, you got a pm. You should also check Can You Parallel These? <that thread, because I think you can help me, lol.

Well its very simple. I just didn't tell them about it. Plus it was the police that we sold it to. And I don't know if any one is familiar with the Firefighter vs. Cop rivalry. So we really didn't care too much. Plus after they said they wanted to buy it is when I decided to spray the thing down... I just wanted to make sure i gave them a clean laptop.

I have an M11x R2, with the i series processor, while no where near as beast as the M15, it blows away any other laptop I've had. After seeing mine a guy at work bought the M15 and he loves it as a gamer, but being a "laptop" portability wasn't too far front in the design parameters lol.
Someone mentioned like Apple, Alienware you're paying for the name. Well, you also get much better support than standard Dell home support, it's not US based but it's in south America, and frankly I find Latin Americans much easier to deal with. For some it might not be much better than India based support though lol.
Apple support does seem to be US based and very good from the few times I had to call in for my iPod Touch. It's not really worth double the price of a PC to me, but I'm guessing that's where the price difference goes.
