My Custom ICE3 Main Screen

Hello everyone, I'm new here and am planning my mac mini install in my 1999 Saturn

I tried all the front ends so far and love the ICE3, however, I don't like the main screen graphics...

So I wanted to share my main screen image with you guys

Let me know what you think!

Is that just an image you made, or is that an working theme in ICE3? If it's a working theme, im assuming you just replaced the images with your own. But if im wrong i would love to know more about making themes for ICE3.

no, that's a functioning main screen I made, I opened the application and replaced the "stock" main screen image with mine.

inside the black box where the ice3 logo normally shows has been replaced by the glowing red fireball visual element... but unfortunately, that removed the clock and track info parts

I'm a graphic designer by trade, and even tho ice3 is a killer program, i didn't like the appearance of the main screen.

I may re-do all the menu bars too, i'm not sure yet

I just noticed 2.0 is out... guess I'll have to start all over again

That's pretty slick, you don't have to do too much tweaking to get it to work with 2.0, but all the other screens need a lot of work. Here's my updated main screen

is that a 2.0 screen, or the previous version?

I just downloaded the new ICE and i'm gonna test it out...

That is made for 2.0. You'll have to move/shrink down the icons as the middle area with the time/date/artist/etc as it is larger than the previous versions.

No, the screen's are just "overlay's" if you will, the programming is done behind the top layer.

TTeuer > not that i'm aware of... unless you know how to do some programming

I tried out the new 2.0 version... i'm liking the new additions options etc.

However, I still hate the GUI...
