Thread: ICE³ - Mac Front End

Just jumped back on here after lurking when I first was building my carputer. Got fed up with AMP after about 2 weeks and just ran Front Row and used my mac mini remote to control it all.

Finally finished my nice and flush mounting (did you know that the new Lilliput 619GL w/ backlight doesn't fit in '06 STi's with the kit provided?) after a bit of milling, hopped back on here, and BAM!!! What a front end!

Ok, this is killing me, what is the name of the EQ you used in the video. I was using it for a while, and forgot why I removed it.

PS - I was so giddy when I started using this, I felt like a 14 yr old seeing his first full boob shot on scrambled porn channels.

Hoping someone can help with my ineptness, I'm trying to put the Audi rings in the background of screen-main.png, however I am not used to Gimp. can someone tell me how I can get this to show behind everything else?

I don't really understand what you are trying to do.
Do you want the Audi rings in the centre where the clock is? or,
do you want the rings to show through screen-main so that it appears to have some level of transparency?

I would like the rings to be behind the clock, icons, and background of the main screen. Rings would be the base layer, then the background with some transparency, then the icons, and clock. I just don't know how to get the rings to appear when it's on the bottom layer. I really have never used Gimp before.

I have been trying to come up with something for you, but can't really do what you want without losing half the logo. This is the best I can do without changing the entire layout (the Audi logo is now the 'settings' button). If you want to send me a quick draft I could have another go at it.

It doesnt appear to have a download for this file anymore?
