Man, I was expecting a little more feedback...at least someone tell me it won't work in a car environment...something...

High contrast should be your most important goal when designing the screens. Since it's impossible to avoid that some of the time sunlight will be washing out your screen (unless you have a transflective screen), high contrast schemes will be at least partly visible. It looks like you mostly have that, except for maybe the unlock screen. Also, bigger is better. It's difficult to read small fonts when driving (and not very safe, either), so if you use words, use big fonts so they are easy to read. I think those two things are true for any installation. My own subjective judgement is that the scheme should fit with the look and feel of your car.
Any day is a good day for golf.

I think it looks great! keep up the great work. It would be awesome if this skin was included with version 2; maybe with an easy way to switch out the car logo.

Is it possible for me to change what the dashboard button does? like a keyboard command? or run an app?

    thanks

Version 2 will have the ability to change theme/skin from the settings menu within the app.
The themes will go in "Library/Application Support/ICEł/Themes/".
This will allow users to switch between themes without having to change the package contents manually. Also, this should encourage users to create their own themes and share (show-off) with others.

I think this has already been discussed here (reply #14)

It's not possible in version 1, and still undecided about version 2. At the moment I am using the "Killer App Launcher" widget to get to a different app. Ultimately I want to write my own version of "Rapidostart". This would result in having a floating button on every 'space' so that you can get back to ICEł.

Wow Wow and Wow!!! Great work!!
    A few points....
I think using spaces for external apps is great! I use RouteBuddy and have that on it's own screen.
When I had a PC in the Car... I know Boo!!!! I use a bit of software called iCT from www.cartft.com
It was skin or theme.. able but it came with the option to drop an image on the front page. Like a Logo for example. Anything other than playing media, radio & photo had to be loaded up as a Docked external app.
I think this would be an easy way to sort the gps issue.

Image from CARTFT.com hope that's ok???

Any images that the user can select ought to come from iPhoto. Then, you can select them from there.

Like the way you can select them and drag them over in Mail into your message.

The usability is looking like it'll be great. Aesthetics wise, I'm still looking for more. I'm pretty picky being a graphics designer. :P

    Great work though, I'm impressed!

I second that. Functionality comes first, but aesthetics are huge factor. I have to say that sonneboz has done a great job and I think he is on the right track.
