you mentioned that the cover flow part was a hack of OSX
Sorry, what I meant was that we are using Leopard's native coverflow. It becomes very memory hungry.
    Check it out here:

    Here it is :

    Enjoy!

Just curious; you mentioned that the cover flow part was a hack of OSX. What did you mean by that? I am just curious if it is something that is likely correctable by apple.

    Again great job!
what he means is that the cover flow is a private framework and their is no official API for using it.

at least thats what I think he means. there are several programming examples of how to do cover flow and that is the only thing I know that qualifies it as a hack.

Hmmm..I can see it but that's probably because I'm an admin. Let me see if I can fix it.

Edit: Yep, it was in the moderation queue because srbatty doesn't have enough posts yet! The link is in post #21.

ok so i just had to make sure and tried it on my powerbook g4 tiger Lol and low and behold, "could not open because it is not supported on this system" =) no surprise. Now i may finally have a reason to upgrade to leopard! Should it be able to run on a non-intel mac? Has anyone with any non-intel macs running leopard tried downloading this wonderful FE?
