is this m4a compatible? i have everything converted to m4a i would really hate to reconvert everything not to mention it takes up much less space on my hard drive?
Hi reece146,
Just replace the screen-***.png files with your own.
I can change the theme for you if you let me know what you are looking for.
I am currently trying to create a new theme for version 2, but struggling with ideas.
If anybody has a theme/concept/idea that they think would be cool/better than version 1, please let me know.
Thanks.

bikerdudepost,
It will support m4a as soon as I add it into the music sort routine.
Currently ICEł only supports MP3, mp3, Mp3, and mP3.
I will make the changes shortly and let you know.
wow, what a great layout, design, and easy to use interface.
leopard only kinda sucks 'cause I'll now have to upgrade the carcomputer, but works great on a 2.8 8core macpro with leopard. took less than a minute to fully customize the look and get everything playing. takes 1.07 GB of memory so may not be practical for old systems.
This is truly a nice piece of work.
thanks.
Thanks ZEEBEES!
When I said it was hungry on resources, I didn't expect someone would run it on a MacPro!! What I would do for a MacPro.....
Everything in ICEł (apart from quartz and photoshop) was made using a MacMini (1.8ghz core2 with 1GB of ram).
Have you tried using a smaller music library?
We found that ICEł only uses about 60MB of ram without coverflow. We are trying to rewrite coverflow so that we have more control over memory usage (dumping layers/covers that are not in view).
Thanks again.
i have a 1.66 with 2gigs of ram and even thought it is still buggy i love this program!! wish it was easier to use the album art but not to big a deal. there are a few thing i would like to ask for 1) the clock doesn't read the right time for some reason? 2) m4a support 3) gps! i use parallels and iguidance and that would make this a killer hot front end!
Bikerdudepost,
The time will be fixed and m4a support will be in the next download.
If you want to fix the time yourself, open the package contents and modify the HUD.qtz file.
Uncheck "Custom Time Zone" in both Date Formatter patches.
GPS Support will be in Version 3.
I know that album art is a pain, but we have done it this way so that it is a standalone app.
Working well on my 1.42 ghz PPC Mini. It takes a second to do some things, but it's not unusable.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Here is the latest build:
Fixed Time Zone (even though it was nice knowing all you guys were looking at NZ time).
Now supports m4a.

I am considering making up a collection of skins. Is anyone interested in this and if so anything in particular?
Thanks again.

Newer images near the bottom. I've been meaning to redo it with a more "modern" OEM look (see Audi/BMW/Honda-Acura) but haven/t been motivated to work on this project lately.
LSX, DiigtalFX and Subaru Minimal look very good to me (see Road Runner themes on this site).
