ICE³ - Mac Front End

faboulous, absolutly great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's exactly that what I was looking for the last 6 month...

Due to I haven't bought my macMini for the car yet: what are the minimum requirements for the MacMini that ICE3 runs smoothly. No GPS intergration necessary due to I have an Alpine Navi seperatly running in the car.

i have a mustang dubbed MacStang and i would like a mustang themed FE. just my opinion there are allot of people that would like to be able to customize there FE to what auto maker they have!

this is a fully functional front end how come it hasen't been moved up to the front end section?(still a little buggy but i love it!)

Oh, and in the Mac front end world I definitely have to say; YOU WIN!

One more cool function (if it hasn't already been discussed) would be iTunes playlist integration...

I like the fact you have a dedicated GPS solution. I sell Garmin as part of my job, so I'm the same.
As for minimum specs, I can only say that a 1.8ghz core2duo runs fine, and RAM seems to be relative to the size of the music library. The code in version 2 will be much more streamlined.

bikerdudepost : MacStang? Interesting... I will play around and see what I can come up with.
When you say "still a little buggy", what exactly are you referring to? I would like to address this now so that we don't have the same bugs in version 2.

Put HUD.qtz & screen-main.png in the package contents. You may need to re-link the ford_mustang_logo.png within quartz composer.

it doesn't always want to wake up. i know that it is made for a 800x480 screen but it doesn't always want to display correctly. umm it has crashed on me a few times. the EQ i am going to guess it is? (three vertical lines with knobs on them) does nothing at least for me? the video also sometimes looks stretched out like it is in the wrong aspect ratio? don't get me wrong it is a super great FE i am not complaining in any way it has already replaced my existing FE so. Seriously the MacStang skin you mad was awesome!!!

I can't believe you are using it if it's that unstable. I think you will be happier with version 2.
I forgot to mention that there is no EQ. There will be bass & treble in version 2.

the latest version you uploaded seems to have fixed all the problems I have had and the only time it crashes is when parallels is open so well blame it on windows (boo!) and it has only crashed 3 times on me as I Amin my car about 10 to 14 hours a day I would say that's not bad at all. So all works pretty well I really like the skin too. I would love to see GPS intrigration either via parallels or app based. I love iguidance and it is what I use primairly in my car. But none of the FE have a built in gps function but qcar and really that's not touch screen based this little app "rocks my socks" and has potiental to be the number 1 FE. I could seeel where people would want XM/serius support as well as general am/fm too or maybe just a general radio function that did all three. I love how easy it is to use and think once the gps is done I would be willing to make a small donation. Sorry this whole thing was typed on my iphone so if there are spelling and grammer errors it really was just the phone LOL :-) thanks again so much!!
