looks pretty good Runs really stable, still have aspect ratio problems but nothing to serious. i would like to make a request. when in a visualizer can we keep the "dock" up longer? i have a very diverse library and often want to skip 6 or 7 songs and i have to touch the screen skip a track touch the screen skip a track ect. or maybe have the timer reset every time you touch the dock? or both? also playlist support and or general song search support would also come in handy for those of us that have 3000+ songs :-)

After using it a bit I'd say, for me, it would be perfect if it had:

- iTunes playlist capability

- Auto size (or at least a choice) for different screen resolutions

- GPS

- an EQ

- No unlock code at the open

You guys have done an amazing job. When it's finished let me know where to send the money and how much you want!

I like the unlock code. it reminds me of watching the Transporter. lol. Makes it so you dont need a Valet Switch

Well after watching that video...I had to go clean my shorts because I was that impressed...you guys have a gem of a product here and I have one question for you and its probably gonna get answered really fast.

Is there any way to play any of the DRM protected content or am I just stuck with using Front Row or iTunes for it. I do see this as being a problem for most FE software and looks like that theres no real way around it and BTW iTunes PLUS really is such a waste because you cant update everything and it really ****es me off.

Thanks for such a stellar program and the wiiremote functionality later on will be soo great. I'm actually working on setting up right now through Leopard if it can be done without 3rd party software.

Keep up the good work and if you ever need a Beta tester...I'm your man lol!

ICE3 is an awesome start for a Mac FE.

I wish there was some easy way around it as well. I used to buy lots of TV episodes from the iTunes Store, but DRM really killed its usefulness. DRM (and NBC's temporary pull-out from the iTunes Store) forced me to explore other options, which has worked out really well.

DRM only hurts those who try to play by the rules and is a barrier to online sales. Too bad the purveyors of online media disagree!

Playlists, different screen resolutions, simple eq (bass/treble) and an option to not have the security screen will all be in version 2.
We will not be looking at GPS until version 3.

LOL! I'm glad you like it.

I'm not really up on the play with DRM protection.
Are you talking about tracks purchased from the iTunes store?
I copied a few tracks (that my girlfriend had purchased) onto a usb stick and transferred them onto my computer (not into iTunes). I noticed that they are protected and have an extension of "m4p". I then added m4p into the sort routine of ICE³ (same as how it was done for m4a), and voila, ICE³ played the tracks just like any other.
If I am on the right track, then its not a problem.
If not, could someone please help me out?

DRM music from the itunes store is no problem. every mac FE that I have ever used plays them just fine without having to do anything special to the actual player code.

video is the real problem, nobody can get that to work 100% all I have been able to do is play the audio from them; the screen is always just pure grey.

Edit: please note that the computer must be authorized to play the music before it will work
