Yes I think it his. You can also make plugins for XMBC!

Coding for XBMC would basically be like encoding a new front end and using the OSX built in APIs since XBMC is made for big screens (even at low resolutions).

I tried XBMC and it was flaky and un-user-friendly.

I agree, but it would be nice to be able to participate to that beautiful project and have access to the source...

For now, using AppleScript andsome custom buttons. My setup is almost complete and ICE3 works REALLY GOOD.

XBMC for the car would be awesome.

I use it everyday on my original XBOX (750GB mod). Easy to understand, interface with and use.

Its just the lack of small screen readability and touch screen access that keeps it from being the defacto front end for all OSes. I havent seen a single attempt which addresses these problems, and I doubt we will.

Any tip to switch spaces? Currently i use xgestures, but it dont works fine with normal click.
