RESQUEST: ICE3 Source Code (begging)

Hi all MacCar community and ICE3 users.

It's been a while posted on the forum since winter is always a pain for me overhere.

FYI, I started the macMini each and everyday since december 1st and didnt have any problem since then with it. I had some miner glitch with ICE3 but nothing that would stop me using it in my car....

Now my setup is done and I would like to push it further....so I would like to address this thread to the Author of ICE3.

I think that turning the source code into a OPEN SOURCE would be a great idea for the MacCar community and it could let people improve the great capabilities of the softare. There's still alot to do, but the big part is already done!!

I would be interested into correcting all the minor and major bugs/glitch at FIRST. Then I would put some time to develop some news features and integrations....

I took some time to learn some COCOA BASICS and I have some experience in C/C++.

So, please give us the chance to improve this beauty and make the CarPc world jealous!!!

The author hasnt been around in months or longer, doesnt touch his website.

Its bull**** like this that keeps us Mac users down.

^^I keep expecting that he show up...if not atleast I tried. He once told me that he would release the code when tired to play with it... maybe he's more then tired and stop coding or maybe he's planing to sell it in the future...who knows ??

I just hope that he show up and give us an update....I would love to have the source code SO BADDLY!!!

;) anyway I guess I'll be stuck with this frontend until I find some time to start a new one....

i have a mac mini i will be installing in my car, and have looked all over for a decent app to use, thanks to this site i have already downloaded and am trying to work through amp_tv, but also would like to be able to modify ice3, as the original poster of this thread said, i would also love to get to tweak this app as i find it's very good, anyone here have the source code or know where to get it ???

i would very much appreciate some info regarding the owner of the source code, if he can be contacted, where etc ???

I worked with him on the themes and visualizations for a while, but I don't personally know him, just emailing back and forth. I'm not sure if he'll answer but it's worth a shot. PM me and I'll see what I can do
