Yes, I am up to 15+ emails back and forth now and many phone messages. Like I said before, they only have one support person and they are EXTREMELY busy. I wonder why?

Also, get this, the support person is not allowed to assist with any activation codes or overrides! Remember, I bought my software direct from Inav, so there should be no doubt I have a legal paid in full copy.

Once again, if anyone at TomTom or Garmin ever reads this, PLEASE PLEASE put out some CARpc and UMPC friendly Nav Sofware.

Within maybe two weeks of getting the software my hard drive crashed! Now I had an image of the install state just before everything crashed (and had installed iGuidance 4.0). After restoring the image, I went to install the 4.0 version to my system. It will not activate and since I did not back up the license file.....

Ok, so I contacted support. After sending over 6 email's back and fourth (having clearly stated that I just need an override code and that it is not activating) I cannot use the software I bought.

So here is the funny part of this... The iGuidance I paid for does not work; however a version I did not pay for (That I may or may not have been running before 4.0) would work just fine!

Hmmm.....makes on e wonder if the map and poi data can be extracted and used with IG 3..............

I was considering upgrading for the improved map data. But things seem to be a little catty-wompus right now...............

Yeah, I'd probably be disputing that charge with my CC company before too long. I bet that'd get inav on track fixing your issue...

They wrote me an email today and just said there are several people with the same problem and they can't figure it out! Anyway, they offered a refund, but thats not what I really want. Oh well, I will just reinstall 3.0 for the time being.

Well this all convinced me not to buy IG4.

I was ready to go to their site and order it today, but the horror stories scared me off easily enough.

Funny...it just occurred to me at the last minute to check here first to see if any bugs had been found out.

I have had no issues at all after having installed it on my desktop once and installing it and uninstalling it on my carputer three times. I can't speak to the quality of customer service because I've never needed it.

I did the coordinates hack to iG4 and am getting the attached. Is anybody else getting the same thing?

Yep, that's what everybody get. It does send the coordinates to the LAT and LON labels and also work with gasprices. Of-course, you can't enter coordinates unless you have a keyboard.

if you'd like to do some additional editing just for appearance purposes u can always chance the X coordinate of the lat and lon words so they appear correctly.
