Okay, I can understand that. An eye candy is an eye candy.

On the other hand, I use GPS for work, and the map data quality and the routing quality is #1 priority. I haven't yet seen a product based on non-Navteq map data to be satisfactory for my main purpose. But I do agree there are products that look much better than iGuidance.

I would love it if IGuidance could be skinned differently, with an option for photo realistic type maps!!!

It uses a combination of speed and steering angle sensors to determine where you are. This helps in big cities were tall buildings might obstruct the GPS signal.

After a bunch of emails back and forth they reset my activation code, so now I'm back in business.

The license manager that comes with iG4 does work pretty well. It allows you to send your activation back to their server or to another machine. My problem was that I forgot to properly prepare when I reformatted my hard drive. As long as you prepare properly you should be okay.

P.S. You won't be making many friends around here if you keep asking about cracks.

has anyone successfully reshacked the buttons out. how about skinning it for a bit of a nicer look and changing the font size with a theme.ini file?

edit: a tried a theme.ini and it works great.

All I did was use Reshash and add the 1004 and 1092 Dialog from http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/gps/...ates-back.html , then followed the Read me file in the gasnav folder.

Now, to the other people out there. This may be a dumb question, but when IG4 starts, shouldnt the arrow be where you currently are, or do you have to start driving before it picks it up?
