It's allowed to have more than one GPS in your life, folks.
you brought up a very good point. other folks dont see the usefulness of a gps phone like i do. i for one travel quite often and the gps phone is useful to me. i dont have to pay the car renter place 70 bucks for a week of renting. i think they will sell more copies of the pda version than the pc version. but yea, i ll stop bickering on about this. i wish inav success with their iguidance 2009.

I know what you mean. GPS definitely drains the battery.

However, I love having iGuidance on my PPC phone. It has pulled me out of sooooo many situations and allowed me to never have to ask for directions or get lost.

Mostly when I'm not in my car or when I'm in someone else's car.

I'm really looking forward to this new version. Especially since I'm building up my new car and finally getting back into the CarPC scene!

And thanks for always giving a heads up on new releases Marvin!

this is why umpc is not a bad option... satisfy both.. portable and good size screen..

a question though.. if you hook up your phone to cigar jack, you don't have to worry about battery shortage, right? I am just a little confused...

Totally agree. iGuidance has messed us up on at least 3 occassions. I only use it for short trips. Long trips I have been using Streets & Trips 2008 without a single issue but the UI stinks in a carpc environment. I've been looking at the garmin and that looks great although the absence of qwerty is really irritating.

Oh man, i am so waiting for this one. I have used many GPS softwares and devices and in the end i have always gone back to iGuidance. Its very easy to use and setup and even a dumby can understand it. I just hope this isnt a pita to get embeded into CF.
