Yes you are true I am not downing iguidance but I am saying they need to catch up with alot of the other gps programs. Garmin just started the restriction on the number of systems you can put the program on but I would still lay out hat money than get the new Iguidance with no new needed features but I would Like to try this new Mapfactor navigator 8, due you know of a usa seller I can purchase from as i usually use 2 gps programs 1 as main and 1 as backup I would like to look into mapfactor as a backup.

I don't think Mapfactor has a distributor for North America, yet, so the ordering would have to be done via Europe. In about 2 to 3 weeks there will be an updated version available with extra POIs for USA/Canada. I will have it available for review at that time.

If you click "buy" it takes you to a page that still says "pre-order."
If you click the "order" button on that page, it takes you to a page that says your shopping cart is empty.

Still, the fact that they've updated their web site is encouraging. Now if only they'd update the front page with an announcement about releasing iG 2009.

On Monday they sent iG09 for printing. It should start shipping on Friday (15th of August, 2008).
