Needed: 3G Software that detects my internal 3G WWAN card

I have an adapter that converts a mini PCIe WWAN card from a netbook to PCIe so I have a 3G card built into my desktop. (adapter here: http://www.hwtools.net/Adapter/MR11.html)

I have installed the appropriate drivers for my card (QualComm Gobi 2000) but the software that was used on my netbook to connect to my 3G carrier does not work on my PC (HP Connection Manager...it seems that the exact hardware is needed to run this software, upon trying to install it just says "HP Connection Manager is not compatible with this operating system" even though the netbook had the same OS)

Does anyone know of a connection manager type software that I can use to connect to my 3G carrier? I am with Rogers Wireless

You might try your wireless carrier.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

I know this is a very old post but you can always create a dial up connection if the drivers are installed.
